Thank you for visiting our website. I am Jon Bunker, I am the Owner and Artisan of Bunker’s Knoll Farm and Woodworks. I am a third generation woodworker and 2nd generation farmer. For 15 years, I served my community in different roles as a firefighter, EMT-Basic and then a EMT-Paramedic before having to medically retire. When life gives you lemons you make lemonade. Shortly before retiring in 2024 I officially launched our business in 2023. This turn of events gave me the opportunity to dedicate my efforts to growing and expanding our operation. Our operation in a family business involving all 3 generations of our family. We strive to provide the highest quality product to our customers. Whether that be our custom and unique handcrafted woodworking items or our fresh produce, eggs, meats or baked goods. Every aspect of our business concentrates on responsible forestry, animal husbandry and agriculture practices. Our lumber is sourced from CITES compliant suppliers for new lumber, we also reclaim a large amount of lumber for use in our products. Our animals are given the highest quality of life which results in the highest quality product for you as the customer. No anti-biotics are used unless required to treat illness. Natural treatments for common issues are used before treating with pharmaceuticals. All our feeds are non-gmo and sourced from local suppliers. Our produce is raised in a sustainable manner, no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. Weed control is done via hand weeding and fire weeding. All our crops are pollinated by our apiary on site. We believe that caring for our land is returned by our land caring for us.
